How We Process Enquiry Data

Data collected
Depending on the form used, we may collect your name, company, email address, telephone number, requested service, target timing and the project information included in your message. Standard technical data needed to operate and secure the website may also be processed.
Purpose and legal basis
We process enquiry data to review your request, contact you, prepare a technical or commercial response and take steps requested before entering into a contract. Processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR and, where applicable, our legitimate interest in managing and securing business communications under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The forms covered by this notice are not used to subscribe you to marketing communications.
How the data is handled
The bundled website forms send the submitted information to the website administration email address. The theme does not create a WordPress database record of the submission. Authorised Sail Group personnel and service providers supporting hosting, security or email delivery may process the data only as needed for these purposes.
Retention
Enquiry data is retained for the time reasonably needed to manage the request and any resulting business relationship, and for any longer period required to establish, exercise or defend legal claims or comply with legal obligations.
Your rights
Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or objection to processing. Requests can be sent to info@sailgroup.it. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority.
External services
The Contact page includes an embedded Google map. Loading that page may allow Google to receive technical information such as the requesting IP address in accordance with Google’s own privacy terms. Links to social networks and other external websites are governed by the notices published by their respective operators.
This notice covers the forms supplied by the Sail block theme. Any analytics, advertising, cookie-consent or additional form plugins enabled on the production website must be reflected in the final website-wide privacy and cookie documentation.
