Questions and answers
Planning an Energy or Building-Systems Project?
These answers cover Sail Group’s delivery model, photovoltaic systems, renewable energy communities and first-stage project assessment.
What does Sail Group mean by general contractor?
Sail Group can take responsibility for the complete technological scope: analysis, coordinated design, procurement, site execution, commissioning, administration, maintenance and after-sales support.
Which types of buildings do you work on?
The company works across residential, commercial, hospitality and industrial buildings, integrating mechanical, electrical, energy and control systems.
Can Sail Group upgrade an existing building or plant?
Yes. Existing projects start with surveys and energy-performance analysis, followed by options for integration, phased replacement or complete renovation.
Which photovoltaic configurations are available?
Solutions may be grid-connected or stand-alone, with or without storage, and can include bifacial modules and emergency power supply according to site requirements.
What is SAIL CER?
SAIL CER is a renewable energy community model that brings producers, prosumers and consumers together to share locally generated renewable electricity and access the applicable community benefits.
Who can ask to join a renewable energy community?
Participation depends on the user’s electricity supply point, the relevant primary-substation area and the current eligibility rules. Sail Group can perform the preliminary area and participation checks.
What information is useful for a first assessment?
Provide the building or site address, project objective, available drawings or energy data, known operating constraints and target timing. A technical survey can then define the next steps.
Do you provide maintenance after commissioning?
Yes. Planned maintenance, performance checks and after-sales assistance can be included in the project lifecycle.
